It is rapidly approaching Christmas, and that makes me excited! All the decorations are out and everything is lit up. We're leaving on the 24th to Victoria to go see lexi for a few days over Christmas, that will be fun!

Yesterday was an open day at my ballet school and lots of parents came to watch their little kids (yes, even my mom came for my class in the morning) and so I was helping with getting them all fixed up and pretty for their little presentation. They were so sweet and it I was quite impressed in how they were able to keep to the music relativley well and they could do alot on their own.

Yes indeed, the eleventh of November is quite the deal here in holland. Its like halloween, except its called Sint Marten and instead of trick or treating the kids make these cool lanterns (one year I remember lexi made a mouse)in school and then go from door to door singing songs about the eleventh of November being the day they can light their lantern. I just gave a cute little boy some candy. lol.

   So anyways, lexie left on wednesday , she's out seeing universal studios while I'm stuck here handing out candy to little children ...but...I am ok with that . Its been wierd without a sister around, I keep thinking she'll be coming back soon, but no, not happening....ah well, I'll survive juuuuuust fine. And that is about all I have to say, my life is coming along quite pleasingly, certainly can't complain. So, God bless and have a nice..........umm....day?

Well this is kinda exciting, writing my first blog and reading all the other dorion peoples. I don't have too much to say, as Lexi already said, she's leaving in November, that will make quite a change around here and I will miss her. The whole family is going to Rome on Sunday, I'm quite excited for that, it should be really cool, our last family vacation   that's a pretty sad, crazy-wierd thought.

As fo me, I'm doing my school work as well as going to Amsterdam for my ballet classes four days a week, I really like and it keeps me occupied, so that's good. And I suppose that's about all for now, better get packing. -Samara
